Privacy Policy

LooksMax AI uses the photos you choose to provide an appearance analysis. We do not sell face photos or use them for advertising. This policy explains the app's current data flow and your controls.

Data the app handles

You may select or capture one front-facing photo and one side-profile photo. The app derives feature scores, facial measurements, recommendations, your selected analysis context and goal, and one-way fingerprints of normalized image data used to recognize the same saved input. These fingerprints are not photographs.

How photos are processed

For the normal two-photo analysis, compressed JPEG copies are sent over HTTPS to our Supabase Edge Function. The function forwards the request to our configured AI service provider, currently OpenRouter using an OpenAI model, and returns structured scores and recommendations. If remote analysis does not return a valid result, the app may use Apple's Vision framework and local image analysis as a fallback.

Supabase, OpenRouter, and the configured model provider process the photos only as service providers for the analysis you request. Their handling and retention are governed by their applicable agreements and privacy policies. The app does not send face photos to advertising networks or analytics SDKs as part of this flow.

Local storage and retention

After a successful analysis, the app stores the exact completed result, analysis metadata, photo fingerprints, and compressed copies of your selected photos on your device using Apple's data protection. The app does not operate a permanent cloud photo library or synchronize this history. Your normal iOS device backup settings may include local app data.

Local history remains until you delete it or remove the app. Remote processing is transient from the app's perspective, but deleting local data cannot recall a request that a service provider has already processed.

Your controls

Within the app, you can:

• delete an individual analysis and its locally stored photos;
• delete all locally stored photos while keeping completed results; or
• delete all locally stored analysis history.

Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to normal iOS backup behavior.

Purchases and reliability

Apple processes in-app purchases. A credit is consumed only after a new analysis produces a valid result and that result is saved successfully. Failed or cancelled analyses do not consume a credit. Reopening an exact matching saved result does not consume another credit.

Children

LooksMax AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can help address it.
